LEAD WITH IMPACT Cohort 1

The ImpactEd team were excited to deliver Lead with Impact for our first Cohort in 2024. What a great looking bunch they are!

We had a mix of team leaders, senior leaders, and teachers in the group. Everyone came with the commitment to grow their own professional capability to lead - whether it was a project, a team, or a whole staff.

Cohort One in Chch 2024

The two day Lead with Impact workshop effectively supports participants in developing leadership skills, fostering self-awareness, and equipping them with actionable strategies. Participants leave feeling empowered, reflective, and better prepared to lead with authenticity and purpose.

Lead with Impact offers a range of activities which includes time for group discussion, self reflection, and peer to peer reflection.

Highlights from the group included:

Opportunities for self reflection and exploring personal values and authenticity

Practical strategies for leading through change, professional conversations, and resilience building.

Activities fostering deeper understanding of “Your Why” and strategic focus.

Cohort 1 also loved:

Development of professional communication and coaching skills

Clarification of authenticity and its application in leadership contexts

Gaining insights into personal leadership styles and strategies to lead effectively.

How did participants feel their leadership capability was strengthened?

Time and support to look at everything in front of me, and make a plan
Having professional conversations with others teachers and leaders that helped me build my understanding of myself as a leader and to listen to different strategies.
Being aware of why I react the way I do and how I can use this knowledge to better communicate with others.
Becoming aware of others’ ‘why’ and how they operate life through this and how this might affect our relationship.
